About Me
(A silly story)
Once upon a time, there was a young girl who never quite knew how to answer the question, “Where are you from?” It was a simple question with a surprisingly complicated answer.
Growing up in a military family meant constantly adapting to new environments, schools, and communities. Connecting with others the only way she knew how, she began telling stories about the many places she had lived. Over time, those stories became her way of building connections, and her love for storytelling stayed with her well beyond childhood.
When she reached college, she had a realization. She loved working with digital media. She loved having control of a room. She especially loved talking while other people had to listen. Naturally, Public Relations found its way into her heart. The field offered everything she thrived in, including creativity, analytical thinking, collaboration, and independent problem solving.
During her internship with Escambia County Community and Media Relations, she built a strong foundation in organizational management, creative strategy, and professional communications. The experience confirmed her ability to work independently while also thriving on a team and solidified her commitment to a career in communications.
In 2023, she transitioned into the nonprofit sector, where she combined her communication skills with a passion for service. In that role, she had the privilege of amplifying stories of resilience, compassion, and community impact, proving that thoughtful storytelling can create meaningful change and keep people listening.
The year of 2025 brought many changes, including moving to Chattanooga, TN. With this change, our heroine courageously seeks a new opportunity to share her wealth of experience, knowledge, and heart for more than just a paycheck.
TL;DR
I’m a communications professional with a passion for storytelling, shaped by a life of adaptability and creativity. With a Public Relations degree, over 2 years of nonprofit experience, and a background in management strategy, I work best at organizing events and people to amplify stories, build connections, and drive meaningful impact.
